Phlebotomy Clinical Practicum
This course provides participants with the practical skills required for the collection of blood and other bodily fluids in a clinical setting. Participants will be introduced to the basic physiology and anatomy of the circulatory system and the proficiency required to perform successful venepuncture.
The practicum will be conducted at one of Raffles Medical’s island-wide clinics. Participants must acquire theoretical knowledge of Phlebotomy from an accredited institution prior to the practicum.
This course is conducted by Raffles Medical Group in collaboration with Republic Polytechnic.

The course is suitable for medical technologists, nurses and phlebotomists who are required to take blood and other bodily fluid specimens for laboratory testing. Enrolled nurses, patient service officers and other healthcare workers with prior training and experience are also suitable candidates.
