What is Yellow Fever?
Yellow fever is a mosquito-borne infection. In urban areas, transmission is from human to human via the mosquito (Aedes Aegypti). The disease is present in Africa, Central, and South America.
Symptoms take 3 to 6 days to develop and include fever, headache, jaundice, muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. About 15% of people who get yellow fever develop serious illness that can lead to bleeding, organ failure, and sometimes death.
Who should have Yellow Fever vaccination?
Vaccination is recommended for people aged 9 months or older, and who are traveling to or living in areas at risk for yellow fever virus in Africa, Central, and South America.

How many doses are required?
A single dose provides lifelong protection. (to be given at least 10 days before your trip)
