Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a dedicated time for raising awareness of this important cause. Breast cancer ranks as the most common cancer among women in Singapore, with 1 in 13 likely to be diagnosed. While the risk increases with age, early detection through screening can make all the difference.
Join us in the fight against breast cancer and take the first step by getting screened today. Together, we can protect, prevent, and pledge against this disease.
What is the recommended age for a mammogram?

*A mammogram is typically not required for women under the age of 40. However, if you have a family history of breast or ovarian cancer, you are advised to get screened. Consult your family doctor to find out the screening options available, and steps you can take to stay in the pink of health.
